Organic Baklouti Green Chili
From the Barbary Coast of North Africa, the Baklouti pepper is rare and unique to this region. This fused oil is the only example of this fruity and spicy green chilli olive oil in the world. Baklouti chilli olive oil is made by combining fresh, early harvest organic olives with an almost equal ratio of fresh, whole green Baklouti chillies. These two, and only two, ingredients are then crushed together, mixed in the malaxer fusing the fresh green pepper with the organic olive oil. Baklouti adds a savoury, tantalizing kick to salsas, marinades, soups, grilled foods, vegetables and more.
Try with: Drizzle this oil on anything where you want added heat, from pizza and meat to salads and vegetables. We love it paired with Honey-Ginger Balsamic for stir-frys and fish tacos; Pineapple or Peach-Balsamic for kebobs or chicken glaze.
