We are more than happy to deliver to any of the following municipalities in the Capital Regional District including: Central Saanich, Colwood, Esquimalt, Highlands, Langford, Metchosin, North Saanich, Oak Bay, Saanich, Sidney, Victoria, and View Royal.
When do you deliver?
We currently deliver on Sundays between the hours of 4:30pm and 8pm. If there’s a time on Sunday that works better for you, please drop us a line as you’re checking out and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
What do I need to get started?
At Local Urban Bites we will provide you with almost everything that you need to make 3 delicious meals a week. All that you need to come to the kitchen with are the basics: Olive oil, Vegetable (or Canola) Oil, Salt and Pepper. We’ve got the rest covered!
What equipment do I need to have?
If you have a set of measuring cups and spoons, a cutting board and sharp knife, baking sheet, oven-safe baking dish, some pots and pans, and access to a kitchen you’ll be good to go. We try and make our meals user friendly so that all you need to bring are yourself and your Local Urban Bites delivery to the kitchen to start creating your fresh and delicious meals.
How do I order?
You can order online by selecting either the 2-Person plan or the Family plan option and then choosing which meals that you would like to have for a given week. All orders and selections need to be in by Wednesday at midnight, to be ready for delivery on Sunday.
Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
We deliver all your groceries in temperature-controlled packaging so that your food will stay fresh even if you’re not home to receive it. However, if there is a window of time that works better for you for delivery, please feel free to let us know! We also suggest that you’re home if we’ll be delivering to an apartment or condominium complex, so that you can make sure you receive your delivery.
Do you have gluten-free options?
While we do have some meals that are naturally gluten-free, we do not currently operate in a 100% gluten-free facility and so cannot guarantee that your meals are gluten-free.
Do you accommodate certain dietary requirements or allergies?
At the moment, we have meals that include both meat and vegetarian options. We cannot guarantee that our products have not come into contact with various tree nuts, soy, gluten, milk products, or other allergens at this time.
What is the nutrition information for your meals?
Since the amount of oil, salt, pepper and size of certain ingredients is variable, we are unable to provide you with an exact nutrition breakdown for each meal.
